The best fashion looks this week were defined by detail. Hand-painted florals, crisp pinstripes, sweeping trains and scalloped gold lace drew the eye, proving that it is often the smallest elements that shape the strongest impression. Bhumi Pednekkar reworked the traditional mundu with graphic shibori borders, Sonam Kapoor chose custom Chanderi finished with zardozi and Madhuri Dixit Nene’s vibrant orange sari was edged in sequins and gold lace. Across classic drapes and modern tailoring, each look carried its own mood, united by a commitment to craft.

Disha Patani wore a Tarun Tahiliani wine-toned Kanjivaram concept sari. The brocade drape was paired with a bidri-inspired corset that added structure to the asymmetric silhouette. For accessories, gold jhumkas and a matching necklace embellished with red stones amplified the regal mood; a long braid cascading down her back.

Karisma Kapoor chose a matching set from 431-88 featuring a purple draped silk shirt, cinched at the waist with a knot tie, flowing into matching wide-legged dhoti pants detailed with delicate gold beadwork along the pleats. Gold hoops, stacked bracelets and heels elevated the look, with a sleek updo, smoky eyes and berry lips.

Bhumi Pednekkar reimagined the traditional South Indian mundu in Divyam Mehta. The black silk satin mundu, finished with Shibori borders and a structured belt, was paired with a cropped high-neck silk top. Stacked metallic gold bangles, a split ring and sculptural drop earrings added edge, while a sleek bun kept the focus on form.
