Fashion’s most compelling moments rarely come from playing it safe. When distinct creative worlds overlap, the outcome feels sharper, bolder and full of possibility. This season’s brand collaborations bring together people who approach design from very different places, yet meet with surprising ease. Craft meets pop culture, couture flirts with beauty and streetwear taps into memory—resulting in brand collaborations that feel thoughtful, collectable and driven by story.
Varun Rana x Obeetee
Instagram content
Creative director and brand consultant Varun Rana’s collaboration with 106-year-old legacy label Obeetee is whimsical and weirdly wonderful. Titled “Insectif”, the collection reimagines hand-tufted rugs as living ecosystems where moths flutter, beetles crawl and swarms of insects emerge in varied hues set against calming, muted palettes. Crafted by master artisans in Mirzapur using wool and viscose, the rugs play with texture and bring designs to life, balancing Obeetee’s classical craftsmanship with Rana’s design. Tradition, here, is gently disrupted and joyfully reimagined.
Nykaa Cosmetics x Bridgerton
Instagram content
Drama, romance and indulgence take centre stage as Nykaa Cosmetics brings Bridgerton’s opulent universe into everyday makeup. The limited-edition collection includes a universally flattering face palette, floral-embossed lipsticks and pastel nail polishes designed to add a touch of Regency glamour to modern beauty routines. Our favourite element is the detachable butterfly rings adorning every lipstick.
Leezu’s x Bombay Sweet Shop
Sexual wellness brand Leezu’s has teamed up with cult-favourite Bombay Sweet Shop for what may be the season's most deliciously unexpected pairing. This Valentine’s collaboration blurs the line between intimacy and indulgence with Dil-bar: a sensorial pairing, Bombay Sweet Shop’s chocolates designed to complement Leezus’ pleasure-forward products. Between January 24 to February 14, orders from Leezu's website will arrive with complimentary chocolates from Bombay Sweet Shop, while Leezu’s Tann Mann Dil playing cards will come as a bonus with orders from Bombay Sweet Shop. The partnership treats pleasure like flavour—personal, sensory and best enjoyed without inhibition.
Falguni Shane Peacock x Kay Beauty
Kay Beauty partnered with Falguni Shane Peacock to turn high-fashion into polished, wearable beauty. Kay Kouture draws inspiration from the glamour of the Gatsby era while remaining grounded in India’s rich textile heritage. The collaboration offers velvety matte lipsticks, statement face palettes and packaging finished with Art Deco motifs and FSP’s signature metallic accents. Shades like Champagne Brocade and Mulberry Cashmere exude luxury, while skin-loving ingredients ensure the performance stays on point.
De Gournay x Tarun Tahiliani
Unveiled as part of Tarun Tahiliani’s 30-year anniversary, this collaboration with British heritage house de Gournay, manifests as a wallpaper inspired by Pichwai tradition. Painted entirely by hand on a gilded silk ground, each panel required over 140 hours of meticulous work. Layered scenes of palms, lotus-filled waters, birds and Mughal architectural elements—rendered in a muted, tonal palette—unfold in careful symmetry. The result is a piece of art that creates a contemplative backdrop, allowing Tahiliani’s own Pichwai works to breathe.
Gully Labs x Nivia
Streetwear, sport and nostalgia collide in Maidaan, a collaboration that reclaims India’s maidaans as cultural spaces. Gully Labs partnered with sportswear brand Nivia to draw from shared memories of outdoor moments with friends, long afternoons and conversations under open skies. The collection introduces three sneaker silhouettes alongside a relaxed-fit jersey, reimagining athletic staples as lifestyle-first streetwear.
